Detailed Itinerary
Day 1- Arrival Kathmandu:
Arrival in Kathmandu for initial meet & greet and transfer via airport to hotel where an equipment/introductory briefing will occur. As well as, using the remaining free time to "lighten" the load of your pack with any last-minute items/supplies you may need prior to ascent towards Mount Everest Base Camp. All pack preparations will be taken for you to successfully begin your trek to Base Camp where the majority of our excursions will take place.

Day 2 - Lukla
To start off on our trip we begin with a very early flight from Kathmandu to Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla. We will begin to walk from Lukla airport through a stunning green forest filled with pine trees and other species. On this day, you will get a chance to experience the culture of the Sherpa people in their small villages that we will walk though. The ttrek will finish up on the banks of the Dudh Koshi River along the way to our campsite, located between the town of Phakding and our campsite.

Day 3 - Arriving at Namche Bazaar.
The journey continued to Namche Bazaar, one of the key trading hubs in the Everest region of Nepal. As with Day 2, our journey continued along the Dudh Koshi River, and we will encounter several suspension bridges along the way, including the Hillary Bridge. The day would also include the final steep ascent into Namche Bazaar, where we would spend the evening.

Day 4 - Acclimating in Namche Bazaar
This will be a very important day for you because it gives your body an opportunity to recover and for it to acclimate to the effects of altitude before moving on. Our hike is up to the Everest View Hotel, with great views of the peak of Mount Everest. As well as Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku, and many other things to do while in Namche: Sherpa Cultural Museum, many monasteries close to Namche, and the market. This was a wonderful way to finish off our time in Namche.

Day 5- Trekking to Thame
You will leave Namche Bazaar heading west and arrive at Thame, an historical Sherpa village. This area has a quieter atmosphere and is filled with various cultural sites, such as many ancient monasteries. The area has many incredible landscapes as well. Another interesting fact is that Thame has produced many famous Everest climbers. Obviously, this will be a do-not-miss on your journey.

Day 6- Trek to the Kongde View Point
Day six will be the most interesting days of the trek, and probably one of the most visually stunning days. You'll have to trek. The hike will be up and on to the Kongde View Point, with some very steep parts of the trail passing through some of the most remote and rugged national park/high alpine areas you can imagine. These are the most views you will have of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and the entire Himalayan Range! You will spend the night at a lodge in Kongde or in a nearby village, depending on conditions.

Day 7- Trek to Phakding
The descent from Kongde to Phakding will take place via the hills surrounding Kongde. Although we will see some of the same areas as yesterday from a different angle and elevation. Phakding is where you will spend your final night of this trek.

Day 8- Trek to Lukla
We will repeat our route back to Lukla (along the same river). Day 8 will be an easy-going journey back to Lukla and is also an avenue for reflection for everyone travelling here and to also share with the others - trekkers and Guides alike, dinner at their hotel the last evening together at the conclusion of this Phase

Day 9- Flying back to Kathmandu
On the ninth Day of your trek, You will be heading back to your hotel in Kathmandu. If you don't take a flight back home after your trek. A member of your trekking company will be waiting and you will stay in one of their hotels. You can also option to add on some additional activities such as shopping, spa services, or maybe even getting a massage, etc. Before you head back to your hotel in Kathmandu, remember to take time to include Day Ten activities and remember your final destination to be your hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 10 Kathmandu
Guided Tour of the Kathmandu Valley on Day 10. To start your adventure, on this day we will complete a guided tour of the Kathmandu Valley. We will visit all three World Heritage Sites located within the Kathmandu Valley (Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Kathmandu Durbar Square). By visiting these sites, you will gain insight into the cultural heritage of the region and local customs. Upon returning to Kathmandu, you will stay at your hotel.

Day 11- Departure
Every guest on this trip will return to their home country on their own scheduled travel date. Since your trek to Kongde was so beautifully scenic, we wish you a safe return home.
