Everest Panorama Trek
Everest Panorama Trek The Everest Panorama Trek is one of the most famous treks in the Everest region of Nepal and is a relatively short trek offering amazing views of Mount Everest (and surrounding peaks) and a chance to experience a glimpse of the local culture and lifestyles. On your way to the Himalayas, you will be able to view Mount Everest. the Everest Panorama Trek will let you enjoy the outstanding views of Mount Everest, without the trek to base camp. You will trek through lovely local villages at the base of the Khumbu peaks. It is one of the best areas in Nepal and is beautiful, experiencing the cultural history of the Nepalese. On your trek you will cross suspension bridges and glacial rivers, and travel up and down steep mountain trails and valleys, and you will enjoy great views of the world’s tallest mountain. You will have an amazing experience watching the sunrise over Everest, visiting Tibetan Buddhist monasteries that date back centuries ago, as well as meeting local people, and meeting other trekkers from around the world. Key Features 1. Amazing views of Everest and other peaks You will have the opportunity to experience some of the best views in the world on a panorama that includes Mount Everest (8848 m) and many other peaks like Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kongde Ri. You will have many opportunities to see Mount Everest, as well as many of the other prominent peaks in the Khumbu area including arguably one of the best view points — Tengboche Monastery. 2. Time – efficient and moderate. If you are short on time, this is a great trek as it’s normally done in 7 – 10 days. This trek is great for beginner trekkers and family friendly for those with moderate physical fitness and ability. While the majority of this trek is above sea level (around max altitude of 3867m) it is less likely for you to get altitude sickness compared to the full trek to Everest Base Camp. 3. Cultural experience. We will visit the Tengboche Monastery (spiritual center of Khumbu) We will have many opportunities to experience local Culture, the Buddhist Religion, and local ways of life in the mountain Villages (Namche Bazaar, Phakding, and Khumjung). 4. A Flight Departure You will fly into either Lukla Airport (or Ramechhap), and the flight into Lukla Airport will be one of the most stunning of your life. Your trek will start and finish in Lukla, and the trekking route will follow a fabulous trek along the Dudh Koshi River valley. 5. Namche Bazaar Your trek will stop in Namche Bazaar (3440 metres) for an acclimatization stop; Namche Bazaar is a buzzing lively mountain township that has cafes, shops, bakeries and a view of Everest. Namche provides a nice mix of commodities for interacting with local people and fellow trekkers, and some indulgence with a mountain view. Conclusion The trek will start in Lukla, and follow a trek route around the villages of Namche Bazaar, Khumjung and Tengboche, and have spectacular mountain views of the Himalayas including Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse etc. The Everest Panorama Trek, is not a bad trekking option for trekkers to enjoy the experience of the Everest area without the commitment of a longer more strenuous trek like the Everest Base Camp Trek.
