The trek starts from Nayapul, which can be reached by a scenic drive from Pokhara. From Nayapul, you trek through terraced fields, lush forests, and traditional villages, immersing yourself in the local culture and natural beauty of the region.

One of the highlights of the Ghorepani Ghandruk Trek is the ascent to Poon Hill (3,210m) after reaching Ghorepani village. Breathtaking sunrise views over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges can be seen. Additionally, you can witness the golden hues of the morning sun illuminating the snow-capped peaks, creating a magical spectacle.

After enjoying the sunrise from Poon Hill, the trek continues to Ghorepani, a beautiful village surrounded by rhododendron forests. Ghorepani is a great place to rest and rejuvenate, offering panoramic views of the Himalayas.

From Ghorepani, the trail descends through dense forests and charming villages, eventually leading to Ghandruk. Here, you can explore the village, interact with the friendly locals, and learn about their unique way of life.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Day in Kathmandu

Welcome to The capital city of Nepal Kathmandu. Rest and prepare for the trek. Explore the vibrant streets and immerse yourself in the rich culture and history of the city. 1250M

Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara

Take a scenic drive or a short flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara, a beautiful lake city and the gateway to the Annapurna Himalayas. Spend the day exploring Pokhara and enjoy its serene ambiance. 850M. 

Day 3: Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga

Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul (approximately 1.5 hours) and start your trek. Trek through lush forests, terraced fields, and traditional villages to reach Tikhedhunga. Overnight stay in Tikhedhunga. 1650m

Day 4: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani

Ascend steep stone steps to reach Ulleri village, a charming village. after stopping at the beautiful village called Banthanti for the Yummy Lunch we Continue trekking through rhododendron forests and picturesque landscapes to Ghorepani . Enjoy stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. Overnight stay at Ghorepani. 2860m

Day 5: Ghorepani to Poon Hill and Tadapani

Early morning hike to Poon Hill, one of the best vantage points in the region, to witness a mesmerizing sunrise over the Himalayas & a great view point of Annapurna & Dhawaligiri mountain ranges. Descend back to Ghorepani for the breakfast and then trek to Tadapani through dens rhododendron forests and beautiful Gurung villages. Overnight stay at Tadapani. 2670M

Day 6: Tadapani to Ghandruk

Trek downhill through dense forests, enjoying occasional views of the mountains. Pass through the village of Bhaisi Kharka and continue to Ghandruk, a traditional Gurung village known for its cultural significance. Explore the village Gairee Gaun and visit the local museum. Overnight stay at Ghandruk(1960m).

Day 7: Ghandruk to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara

Trek downhill from Ghandruk to Nayapul, passing through terraced fields and traditional villages. Bid farewell to the mountains and drive back to Pokhara. Spend the rest of the day relaxing by the lakeside or exploring Pokhara’s attractions. 

Day 8: Free Day in Pokhara

We will provide you a half day Pokhara sightseeing tour including Pumdikot shiva Statue, world PeaceStupa, Devis falls, Gupteshower Cave & Tibeten RefugeeCaps.(3-4hours)

And also today is your adventure sport day in Pokhara, there are many things to do around like Paragliding, Bungy Jumping, Zipline, ultra-light flight to the Himalayas, sightseeing, cycling, Boating etc.

Day9: Pokhara to Kathmandu

After breakfast driving (have an option to Fly) back to Kathmandu by Tourist bus 10 hours approximately enjoy the scenic ride on the mid hill range with field, river & lifestyles. Stay at Kathmandu

Day 10: Departure day

After breakfast we will drop you of to the airport for final departure for your home or your next destination we bid our see you again until next time
