Panchase Eco Village Trek is a popular trekking route near Pokhara. Panchase is a hill located to the west of Pokhara Valley. It offers stunning panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. The trek is relatively short, easy, and can be completed in around 4-5 days. It makes a great option for those with limited time for Trekking In Nepal.

Panchase Eco Village Trek offers stunning views of the Himalayas and a unique cultural experience. The trek takes you through lush rhododendron forests, terraced fields, and picturesque Gurung villages, providing a peaceful and immersive escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Pokhara

Altitude: 850 m

Upon your arrival at Pokhara, our representative will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the beautiful lakeside town of Pokhara and preparing for the trek. Stay at Lakeside for the night.

Day 2: Drive to Khare and Trek to Bhumdi

Altitude: 1,525m

After breakfast, we will take a scenic drive to Khare, the starting point of the trek. From Khare, we will start trekking towards Bhumdi village. The trail passes through forests and farmlands, and we will have opportunities to interact with the local people and experience the traditional lifestyle of the Gurung community. Overnight stay in Bhumdi. 

Day 3: Trek to Panchase Bhanjyang

Altitude: 2,070m

Today we will trek from Bhumdi village to Panchase Bhanjyang. The trail gradually ascends through beautiful forests, and we will see a variety of flora and fauna along the way. As we gradually climb higher, the views of the surrounding mountains & peaks become more and more impressive. Then, we will reach Panchase Bhanjyang where we will stay for the night.

Day 4: Trek to Panchase Peak and descend to Bhadaure

Altitude: 1,670m

Early in the morning, we will climb to the summit of Panchase Peak. From the top, we will have panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges, as well as the Pokhara Valley and Fewa Lake. After enjoying the views, we will descend back to Panchase Bhanjyang and continue to Bhadaure village where we will stay the night.

Day 5: Trek to Naudanda and Drive to Pokhara

Altitude: 850m

Today, we will trek to Naudanda, which offers stunning views of the Himalayan peaks and the Pokhara Valley. From Naudanda, we will take a short drive back to Pokhara. You can spend the rest of the day relaxing and exploring the town. Overnight stay in Pokhara. 

Day 6: Free Day in Pokhara

Today we will have a half-day Pokhara sightseeing tour that includes the Pumdikot Shiva Statue, World Peace Stupa, Devis Falls, Gupteshower Cave & Tibetan Refugee Camp. You can also try various adventurous things like Paragliding, Bungee Jumping, Zipline, Ultra-light flights to the Himalayas, Sightseeing, Cycling, Boating, etc.

Day 7: Departure from Pokhara

Your Panchase Eco Village Trek comes to an end today. Our representative will transfer you to the airport for your flight. It’s time to say goodbye and hope the trek is filled with unforgettable memories.

How hard Panchase Trek is?
Panchase Trek is Easy grade Trekking route in Nepal, which takes you to the Himalayan foothills to experience the lifestyles of local Nepali People.
Is 7 Days enough for this trip?
Yes, 7 days is enough for this trip as you hike on the lower part of Himalayas
Do I need a guide and porter for the trek?
We recently ban an independent trekker in Nepal while it's not implemented it well & you may see very few people trekking independently. It is highly recommended to have an experienced Guide, especially for those unfamiliar with the terrain. A guide can provide valuable information, cultural insight & safety briefings, and a porter can lighten your load so you can do the trip comfortably. & most importantly it supports to their family as well.
What permits are required for the trek?
Trekkers need an Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) and a Trekking Information Management System (TIMS) card. These can be obtained in Kathmandu or Pokhara before you start your trek. Happy Mountain Nepal will be helping you to obtain it.
What is the accommodation like during the trek?
very basic Tea houses and Homestays are available along the trekking route, providing basic but comfortable accommodation with Indian, continental & Nepali food. It's advisable to book in advance during peak seasons as they have limited number of Homestays.
What should I pack for the trek?
Pack essentials like comfortable trekking boots, warm clothing, a good-quality sleeping bag, a first aid kit, and a water purification system. Happy Mountain Nepal is providing a check list for packing.
Is it possible to do the trek independently or should I join a guided group?
Recently we ban the independent trekkers, however you can see very few people trekking independently as the ban is strictly not implemented. Joining a guided group offers you a support, local insights, and can enhance the overall experience so we highly recommend joining the group.
How do I reach the starting point of the Panchase trek?
The trek usually starts from Bhumdi Village near Pokhara, which is an hours drive from Pokhara. We will be providing the private car transportation to & from trekking Starting & Ending Point
