Your 19 Days Nar Phu vally & Tilicho lake start from Kathmandu going to The most Famous Trekking start poing at Besisahar passing the vpart of old Annapurna Circuit trekking & separating from Koto which is just before Chame bazar.
After the trail sperate from Koto the trail leads to more remote & isolated area of Nar Phu Valley. Meta is the old village with the old shelters of Tibetan Refugee after Tibet China war in 1957. Visiting village like Kyang (anicient Khampa settlement), & Chyakhu represent the beauty of the small village surviving the life just on the lap of Himalayas. Phu is the hidden village located on the elevation of 4200 from sea level in the north eastern part of Phu valley, the valley is not seen from other places & it is famous for its unique location. the houses of Phu village here made out of wood with clay roof. Visiting the monastery on the top of village gives you the spirituel vibes & experiencing the lifestyle & appreciate yourself.
Visiting monastery in Nar Phedi is another beautiful experience you will have. seeing small young monk doing their daily ritual along with schooling often they serve yummy food & warm tea to the visitors. Visiting Nar village itself is an unique experience, After crossing a beautiful Nar pass along with lots of Chortens & beautiful mani stone you will arrive the most beautiful village Nar, Nar is located in between the high hills & just right behind of Pissang peak. the village is very unique with old architecture, Monasteries & from the guru Rinpoche statue you will; have the most stunning view of Whole Nar village & mountain on the backdrop.
Kang-La pass is located in between village of Nar & Nagwal the beautiful pass is located on 5320 meters from sea level, on the way to the pass you will be seeing Mt. Manaslu, Himlung, Pissang, Hiuchuli & so many other mountains. Setting off early morning might be beyond your comfort zone but the most stunning landscape, rewarding sunrise view & rising Himalayan peaks gives you a strength to cling high altitude terrine. From the pass you will see the Humde village & Part of Annapurne peaks like Annapurna 3,2 Gangapurna 7 many more mountain. after the pass at Kang-La the trail leads to slope & steep downhill you will descend smoothly taking your time tp arrive Nagwal village to catch up the part of Annnapurna Circuit.
Manang is the village & also the name of whole district staying here is another unique experience Trekking to Tilicho. Manang is old & traditional village in Annapurna region which is very famous for mountain view & their local hospitality. the more luxury you may feel this place after the Nar Phu & yet again heading towards remote locations. Trekking to Tilicho lake is the one of the most unique & rewarding experience of life. Arriving at the altitude of 4919 meters from sea level & the most beautiful blue lake just Infront of you waiting for the visitors, gives you a tearing experience, you will feel more privileged & your all the tiredness will go away with the beauty of this Lake.
Thorang-La pass located on the elevation of 5416 meters from sea level which is on the lap of Thorang peak itself also known as the widest pass on earth. The most appreciating view towards the Himalayas are here. this trekking trail was number one trekking destinations before all this road was constructed here in Annapurna region. Other side of Thorang-La gives the most magnificent view of Mustang area is known as hidden kingdom of Nepal & famous for its landscape, lifestyles & semi Tibetan culture. Visiting Muktinath is another attraction of the trip(place for salivation), seeing the Nun here as a priest praying on the Hindu(Also Buddhist) temple Muktinath gives you a insight connection between Hinduism & Buddhism.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Day in Kathmandu
Our representatives will welcome you at the Tribhuvan International Airport. After being dropped off at your hotel in Thamel, you will have the whole day to explore the city and visit the nearby streets. Meet with your guide (5PM) and be briefed about the tour. Overnight stay in Kathmandu. Altitude: 1400 m
Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing Day
You can explore the Kathmandu Valley, visit cultural sights, and learn about the history. You can also visit sacred sites like Pashupatinath and Boudhanath in Kathmandu. If time permits, you can head to Patan Durbar Square & Swyambhunath to witness famous architecture, ancient scriptures, and stone writings. Stay at Kathmandu. Altitude: 1400 m
Day 3: Kathmandu to Dharapani
After early morning breakfast, we begin our journey with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar. The local bus out of the valley follows the picturesque Trishuli River. As the drive progresses, you can witness beautiful scenery – terraced fields, traditional villages, and views of mountains, including Ganesh and Manaslu peaks. After a while, we will cross a suspension bridge and follow a rocky, steep path to reach Tal Village. After savoring the beauty of Tal, we move ahead, crossing a suspension bridge to reach lower Dharapani. We will stay the night at Dharapani. Altitude: 1960m
Day 4: Dharapani to Koto
Today we will enter Nar Phu Valley, which will take around four to five hours. The route passes through pine and fir forests, several monasteries, and traditional villages to Bargarchhap. From Bargarchhap, you can enjoy spectacular views of Annapurna II, Manaslu, and other peaks. The path continues through pine forests before reaching Koto, a small village inhabited by the Gurungs. Altitude: 2650m
Day 5: Koto to Meta
We will begin from Koto onwards the Nar Phu trail today. We will cross the river to enter the Nar and Phu valleys. As we trek further ahead, the route becomes more scenic and distant from the rest of the world. We will come across forests of oak, rhododendron, and bamboo. Then, we will climb a steep hill before finally reaching Meta Village. From Meta, the snowy peaks of Lamjung and Annapurna II can be visible. Overnight stay in Meta. Altitude: 3560m
Day 6: Meta to Phu
Today, we will start our trekking from Meta to our first remote village of Phu. Along the way, we will witness Tibetan Buddhist stupas and chortans. You can also witness the Tibetan Buddhist community’s culture, religion, and traditions living here. After crossing the suspension bridges, we will reach Chyaku fields. From Kyang, We will witness the views of Pisang Peak and Annapurna II. After some walking on a rocky path, we will pass through the Phu River which will lead you to Phu village. We will stay the night at Phu Goan. Altitude: 4250m
Day 7: Phu to Nar Phedi
Visit early morning Phu village, the most beautiful village in the whole region. Today your trekking starts after breakfast as we will be heading from Nar Phedi. You will witness many Buddhist stupas and chortans on the way to this remote village. you will be crossing the villages like Kyang & Chyaku. we will cross over the suspension bridge over the Labse River to reach Nar Phedi Monastry. you will be staying at the Monastery seeing monk making Prayers & their daily rituals. stay with the Monk & experiencethe life of the young monk in the Himalayas. Altitude: 3500m
Day 8: Nar Phedi to Nar
After your morning breakfast at Nar Phedi at the monastery you will hike towards Nar village. ascent towards Nar, just before crossing Nar Pass you have most beautiful Chortens, Mani wall & stupa. Upon arrival you have your Lunch & explore Nar village. see the monastery, Guru Rinpoche statue & unique formation of village. stay at Nar. Altitude: 4150m
Day 9: Nar to Ngawal Via Kang La Pass
Today is regarded as one of the longest and most challenging treks, today, we will be crossing a high pass. We will make our way towards the Kang La Pass at an altitude beyond 5000m to get to the Annapurna circuit trail. Although the pass is not as difficult, the route is very long and takes more than 8 to 9 hours to complete. From the edge of the pass, we will be able to witness the mesmerizing views of Annapurna II, Tilicho Peak, and Gangapurna. Then, we will head towards Ngawal by taking the upper Pisang route. Overnight stay in Ngawal. Altitude: 3660m
Day 10: Ngawal to Manang
The views of Annapurna II and Annapurna III will be incredible as we make our way to Manang. The air gets thinner and colder as we ascend higher. The trail goes through hills covered with icy rivers, and snow-covered mountains. Then, our trek starts from the picturesque village of Ngawal and continues to Manang. Chortens, Buddhist shrines, and prayer flags will dot the trail. After a rough hike, we will reach Manang, our stop for the night. Overnight at a teahouse in Manang. Altitude: 3500m
Day 11: Manang to Khangsar
We will leave Manang to take an uphill ascent. Then we will cross a suspension bridge spanning the Manang River. After that continuing the climb up. After a couple of hour’s walk, we will reach another beautiful village Khangsar. We will head to a teahouse and take a well-deserved rest in Khangsar. Altitude: 3770m
Day 12: Khangsar to Tilicho Base Camp
Today, we will be entering the Annapurna Circuit trail as we head to Khangsar village, a short way down. We will begin the trek to the path towards the Tibetan Buddhist monastery, which can be reached after climbing many stone steps. We will climb to the high ridge to reach the point where the old and new trails intersect. Then, we will take the new trail and ascend to a steep ridge before we take a descent. Eventually, after walking through stone steps and narrow rugged roads, we will reach Tilicho Base Camp. Overnight stay in Tilicho Base Camp. Altitude: 4850m
Day 13: Tilicho Base Camp to Tilicho Lakethen back to Shree kharka
Starting from Tilicho Base Camp, we will embark on a steep ascent to Tilicho Lake, also known as the highest lake in the world. You would get a chance to take breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and the crystal-clear waters of the lake making your journey truly unforgettable. After enjoying the serenity of Tilicho Lake, we descended back to Shree Kharka. We will stay the night at a local lodge in Shree Kharka. Altitude: 4080m
Day 14: Shree Kharka to Yak Kharka
We will be leaving the Shree Kharka and ascending to Yak Kharka. We will continue down towards the village of Kangsar. The trail offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, landscapes, and the peaceful atmosphere of Yak Kharka. We will be staying the night at the village of Yak Kharka. Altitude: 4000m
Day 15: Yak Kharka to Thorang Phedi
We will continue our Nar Phu Valley Trek. We will ascend a ridge where you will get a breathtaking view of Annapurna, Tobuche, Gangapurna, and Chuli Peak. Then, we will follow the path that descends to Marsyandhi. We will continue the path following the river and descend to Thorung Phedi. Stay the night at Thorang Phedi. Altitude: 4650m
Day 16: Thorang Phedi to Thorang La to Muktinath
Today’s trek is a bit challenging. You will reach the highest part of Nepal- Thorong La Pass. You would get to witness panoramic views of the Annapurna Range, Thorong Peak, Dhaulagiri Range, and other peaks. Then, we will descend to Muktinath. Immerse yourself in the holy Hindu temple – Muktinath. Stay the night at Muktinath. Altitude: 3800m
Day 17: Muktinath to Pokhara drive
After a spiritually enriching experience at Muktinath, we will embark on a scenic drive to Pokhara. The journey offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, including the majestic Annapurna I and the towering Dhaulagiri. We will pass through charming villages, lush valleys, and winding mountain roads, creating a final memory of our journey. Altitude: 850m
Day 18: Pokhara sightseeing
We will be exploring the lake city of Pokhara. We will be visiting different places like Phewa Lake, Devis Fall, World Peace Pagoda, Tal Barahi Temple, Mahendra Cave, Sarangkot, etc. We will spend our full day exploring the Pokhara Valley and can also do several adventure sports like paragliding, zipline, boating, etc.
Day 19: Return back to Kathmandu
Today, we will return to Kathmandu leaving Pokhara through a scenic drive or flight. Our representative will take you to your hotel. Rest and Relax your tired body. Enjoy the unforgettable memories and have a farewell dinner in the evening.
