Detailed Itinerary

Day1:- Arrive in Kathmandu

Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal Known as the city of wooden temples. Upon your arrival, our local representative will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to have a good rest at the hotel.  we will meet up for the trip briefing at 5 pm. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day2:- Kathmandu Sightseeing tour

After breakfast, you will visit Pashupatinath temple where you will perform a puja, then visit Bouddhanath stupa then Jal Narayan(sleeping Vishnu). After lunch, prepare yourself for the Kailash Yatra/Kora. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day3:-Kathmandu to Gyirong

After your breakfast at Kathmandu, take the car ride to Rasuwa Gadi 170km away from Kathmandu. The ride takes about 7/8 hours due to the road condition. After passing the Immigration & formality on the Nepal and China side, you will meet your Tibetan guide and drive to Gyirong Town (3700m). Stay overnight in Gyirong Town.

Day4:- Rest day for acclimatization

Take a good rest at the hotel or explore the town to acclimatize to the altitude change. experience the closest Tibetan city to Nepal. Stay overnight in Gyirong Town. 

Day5:- Gyirong to Dongba or Paryang

After breakfast, you will be escorted to Dongba (4500m) 250km away from GyirongOn the way, you can enjoy the grand view of Mt. Shishapangma (8021m), Mt. Gauri Shankar (7134m), and other high mountains from Lablung La Pass (5050m). You can also admire the sacred Lake Peikutso. Stay overnight in New Dongba. 

Day6:- Lake Manasarovar (4558m)

Today, continue your trip to Lake Manasarovar. It is an auspicious day because you will have the first glimpse of the sacred Lake Manasarovar and Mt. Kailash from Horchu Pass. Stay overnight near Chhu Gompa.

Day7:- Puja and drive to Darchen (4560m) (30km)

The abode of god will be a lifetime achievement. Puja, Havana worship, meditation, holy bath etc. In the afternoon, take the car /Bus ride to Darchen 30km away. Stay overnight in Darchen. 

Day8:- Trek Day One: Darchen to Diraphuk (5000m)

Diraphuk is about 18km away from Darchen. You will take the eco-bus from Darchen for 10km pass by Tarboche and then trek for about 4-5 hours to Diraphuk (4890m). Stay overnight at the basic guesthouse. 

Day9:- Trek Day Two: Drirapuk to Zuthulphuk

Today is one of the highlights of your trip that you are arriving on the lap of lord Shiva It takes around 8-10 hours to trek to Zuthulphuk (4790m) about 22km away. This is also the most challenging day of your yatra. You will pass by ParikarmaDolma-la Pass (5620m), and Gaurikunda is another sacred lake just after the pass. Stay overnight at the basic guesthouse. 

Day10:-Trek Day Three: Dzutripuk to Dongba/Saga via Manasarovar Horchu

Today, you will trek 8km to the ending point of Mt. Kailash Parikarma (circuit) and then take a car/bus ride to Darchen. After lunch, you will take the car/bus ride to Dongba via Manasarovar Horchu. Stay overnight at Dongba.

Day11:- Dongba/Saga to Gyirong

Take the car/bus ride to Gyirong.  You are going to have a long ride on the Himalayan Shangri-la. Stay overnight in Gyirong. 

Day12:- Gyirong to Kathmandu (150km)

Today you will pass the Gyirong Port/Rashuwagadhi Border,  after border immigration formalities and you have a long & bumpy Drive day towards Kathmandu(road conditions in Nepal are Poor) arrive at your hotel in Katmandu for an overnight stay.

Day13:- Depart from Kathmandu

After your big adventure in Nepal & Tiber now time to bid our farewell to you for final departure. We will pick you up at the hotel and drop you off to Kathmandu Airport.
