Mohore Danda Trekking Introduction

Mohore Danda Trekking, also known as Mohore Hill Trek or Eco-Community Lodge Trek. It is a relatively new trekking route in Nepal. It is located in the Annapurna region of the country, specifically in the foothills of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna mountain ranges.

Mohore Danda Trek is a relatively easy and off-the-beaten-path trek located in the Annapurna region of Nepal. It offers stunning panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges, as well as the opportunity to experience local culture and hospitality.

The Mohore Danda trekking takes its name from Mohore Danda, a hilltop viewpoint situated at an altitude of approximately 3,300 meters (10,827 feet). The primary objective of the trek is to offer an alternative route to the popular Ghorepani-Poon Hill Trek. It provides a less crowded and more sustainable trekking experience.

One of the unique features of the Mohore Danda Trek is the emphasis on community-based tourism and eco-friendly practices. The trekking trail passes through several rural villages inhabited by ethnic communities such as Gurungs and Magars. These communities actively participate in the development and management of the trekking route, ensuring that the benefits of tourism are shared among the locals.

The Mohore Danda Trekking is an excellent choice for trekkers looking for a less crowded and more community-focused trekking experience in the beautiful Annapurna region of Nepal.
