Namche Bazaar

Namche Bazaar is a busy village at 3,440 meters and is in a natural amphitheatre. It is the social, culture and economy centre of the Khumbu. It is a ramshackle of traditional stone houses of all shapes mixed in with modern lodges, shops and a few bakeries. From the air, it has a well organised, artistic terraced pattern with the perfect mountain range backdrop.
