Dhaulagiri Circuit trek explores a wild, remote and off-the-beaten-trekking area of the Nepal
Himalaya. The trek starts from Beni and then follows the Myagdi Khola river passing through
beautiful Gurung villages with terraced fields framed by views of the Dhaulagiri massif.
After walking up the narrow Chonbarden gorge towards Dhaulagiri Base Camp we then cross
French Pass into Hidden Valley. After crossing Dhampus Pass we start the long descent to
Jomsom and then at the end of the trek we fly out to Pokhara.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,428ft)

After landing at the Tribhuwan International Airport, we will be greeted by a representative of
Happy Mountain who will drop us off at our hotel. We then check-in at the hotel, freshen up and
take a rest. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara

Today we take short (35min) flight to Pokhara than drive to Beni bazaar which is a
gateway of Dhaulagiri, Mustang region & Tibetan region, stay on the side of Kali Gandaki river.

Day 03: Day 3: Drive to Darbang (1,180m) and trek Dharapani (1,470m) B.L.D


Day 04: Day 4: Trek to Muri (1,850m) B.L.D


Day 05: Day 5: Trek to Boghara (2,080m) B.L.D


Day 06: Trek to Dobang (2,500m) B.L.D


Day 07: Trek to Sallaghari (2,820m) B.L.D


Day 08: Trek to Italian Base Camp (3,660m) B.L.D


Day 09: Rest and acclimatisation day B.L.D


Day 10: Trek to Glacier Camp (4,200m) B.L.D


Day 11: Rest and acclimatisation day at Glacier Camp B.L.D


Day 12: Trek to Dhaulagiri Base Camp (4,700m) B.L.D


Day 13: Rest and acclimatisation day at Dhaulagiri Base Camp B.L.D


Day 14: Trek via French Col (5,360m) to Hidden Valley (5,050m) B.L.D


Day 15: Option 1: Exploration walk around Hidden Valley option 2: Optional ascent of<br /> Dhampus Peak (6,060m). B.L.D


Day 16: Trek via Dhampus Pass (5,240m) to Yak Kharka (3,680m) B.L.D


Day 17: Trek to Jomsom (2,670m) B.L.D


Day 18: Fly to Pokhara & Kathmandu. B

Our Upper Mustang Trek in Nepal comes to an end today! A representative from Happy
Mountain will take you to the airport approximately three hours before the scheduled flight. On
your flight back home, we take with us amazing memories of your Lo Manthang trip and Nepal.

Day 19: World Heritage Site Tour in Kathmandu

Today we are taking you to show the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu
valley in Nepal. Seeing Swyambhunath temple(known as a monkey temple), Patan Durbar
Square a wonderful ancient royal palace from 13/14 centuries also called city of fine arts,
Pashupatinath temple one of the holiest & biggest lord Shiva temple, Bouddhanath Stupa a
largest stupa on the earth. B.



Day 20: Final Departure

Our vehicle and escorts will be on standby to drop you to the international airport three
hours before your scheduled flight back home. We pray for your Safe journey and will reflect on
the wonderful times we spent together. Bon Voyage!!! We hope to see you again someday.B
