Fay Sharpe, Witham, UK
We’ve just had an absolutely great day with Ray and driver they arrived on time At our hotel in a great SUV. We then visited the best of Kathmandu, never rushed with Ray’s expert commentary on some of the most incredible Temples and Stupas 7 in total .. we really felt looked after and sage . The driver was waiting for us at every stage and added bonus was great coffee advice at the Himalayan Coffee Co! He also helped us with other advice we are trying Nepal cookery class tomorrow. I loved the circular great Stupa where we stopped to listen to monks chanting which was a great experience. All together fabulous..cultural, informative interesting day
Our Nepal Family & Friend Ray
Danielle Cameron, Queensland, Australia
We recently returned from our second trip to Nepal, with Resham as our guide, friend and travel mentor. We cannot praise him enough, and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a friendly helping hand while you’re there. Not only was he our trekking guide, sharing his extensive knowledge and expertise of the big mountains, but he also arranged flights, accommodation, transport and shared his local sightseeing knowledge with ease. He has extensive contacts throughout the country, and was always so happy and prompt to reply with assistance even when we were in another region. Resham makes exploring his country so easy and joyful! He really listened to our needs and wishes, and created the perfect itinerary which included trekking, city sightseeing of Kathmandu, Pokhara & Lumbini ( the birthplace of Buddha) yoga & sound healing retreats, and even where to eat and stay. He booked flights within minutes, and even arranged airport pick-ups & drop-offs. Nothing is a problem for this happy, kind, respectful, knowledgeable and attentive young man! We felt safe and welcome at all times in his capable hands, and plan on bringing groups from Australia over next year and in the future, with Ray as our guide & organiser.
He is an absolute gem, and a wonderful ambassador of the Nepalese culture, hospitality and welcoming charm.
A big heartfelt thank you once again Resham. We cannot wait to come back, and we are even planning our next trip already, and we’ve only been home a few days!
Words can’t do justice to how amazing Rey is
Amina_K, USA Jan 2024
Rey was a ray of sunshine! I have been visiting places and using different tour guides for weeks – and I can say with certainty that Rey is the best one I have had so far. He cares about the mountains and Nepal as a whole and brings extensive knowledge. As we were hiking, he kept removing trash he found along the way, and telling me the names of the birds, animals, and trees we encountered. Other than that, he is patient and got a fun and outgoing personality. Throughout the hike, he kept encouraging me (I kept complaining about the endless stairs we had to climb), and reminding me that we could always slow down if I wished. He also shared jokes and stories about life in Nepal – which allowed me to have a sense of what it is like to live there. We ended the hike with local snacks he had brought. I am grateful that I got to learn about Nepal through his lenses and experience this hike. I would rate more than 5* if I can. Again Thank you so much, Ray.

This tour was amazing and filled with so much history. I am very grateful to have been appointed Ray as my tour guide, he is very kind and has a vast amount of knowledge, I learnt so much in the little time I spent at the different heritage sites and his detail and explanations has inspired me to research more on the rich culture and history of Nepal. If you have a few days in Kathmandu this tour is definitely worth considering and you’ll tick off so many sites in one day! A special thanks also to our driver, Rudra, who is very kind and with his impressive skill and care when driving you’ll always feel safe! Thank you for the wonderful memories I’ll
